Debbie's Perspective

I’ve had a very hard time with this part of my blog. What do I write? What do people really want to know about me? Should I be funny, witty, factual? I decided I would just give a brief description, and then let you find out who I really am through my posts.

I’m a wife to Van, the man I married in 1983 and am still madly in love with today. I’m a mother of 4; Taylor, Grace (relocated to heaven), Hope, and Carson.  My youngest son, Carson, has autism. I am the Director of the Special Needs Ministry at my church. I love to read, write, listen to music, and hang out with my friends and family.

My passions are my faith in God, my children and family, and autism awareness. These are the things you will hear about from me. I hope you’ll join me as I share my heart.
